Course Details

Award-winning course architect Arthur Hills, known for his natural design sensibility and strong environmental ethic, was chosen to design Gaillardia’s course, which opened in July 1998; the venue later gained national attention when The Wonderful World of Golf staged a fall 2000 exhibition match there between Masters champions Fred Couples and Phil Mickelson (Mickelson won), and Gaillardia went on to host the season-ending Senior Tour Championship in 2001 and 2002, won by Bob Gilder and Tom Watson, respectively.
