Course Details

Opened in 1980, Lochinvar Golf Club is Texas's first golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, nestled among majestic pines just minutes from Houston’s airport. This course features gently rolling terrain and wide fairways, which are framed by the overhanging branches of mature pines and bordered by winding water hazards. The greens serve as Lochinvar's primary defense, known for their firmness, speed, and subtle yet challenging breaks. A standout feature of the course is the ninth hole, a par-5 that was previously the 18th. This hole is characterized by a long, winding hazard that runs along the left side, leading to a well-guarded green that poses a significant challenge for players attempting to reach it in two strokes.
