Course Details
Roughly 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, Meadow Club debuted in 1927 as Alister MacKenzie’s first American design. Over time, trees crowded the property and the greens shrank, muting the course’s original links-like character. In the early 2000s, architect Mike DeVries led a restoration that brought back MacKenzie’s vision by reclaiming the original green pad sizes and reestablishing the distinctive bunker forms. Tucked in a valley beneath Mount Tamalpais, the course once again stretches out as a broad, strategic layout highlighted by sweeping, contoured greens and thoughtfully positioned MacKenzie bunkering.
