The East Course at Winged Foot Golf Club, located in Mamaroneck, New York, opened in 1923 and was designed by legendary architect A.W. Tillinghast. Many of the defining features of the more famous West Course are also present on the East Course. A recent restoration by Gil Hanse revitalized its classic design, including bunkering and the reclamation of the original green sizes and shapes, bringing the "corner-pocket" hole locations back into play.
