Founded by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus, The Bear’s Club opened in 1999. The championship course winds gracefully through native vegetation, including old oaks, pines, cypress trees, and wetlands. Nicklaus incorporated 102 bunkers inspired by those at Royal Melbourne, blending them with medium-to-large, undulating greens with rounded edges that flow into collection areas.
