Course Details

Perched atop the Jersey Palisades, Alpine Country Club traces its origins to 1928, when famed architect A.W. Tillinghast was commissioned by a consortium of civic leaders known as “The Forty Millionaires” to design a championship layout on rugged terrain connecting Alpine, Demarest, and Cresskill—hence its original name, “Aldecress.” Blasting through solid rock to perfect the routing, Tillinghast created one of his most demanding and artful courses, a true hidden gem within his legendary portfolio. In 1960, members purchased the property and renamed it Alpine Country Club, continuing its proud legacy as one of the premier golf destinations in the Tri-State area.
