Chris also represented our country on the 1995 Walker Cup Team. A four-time All-American at UNLV. From 2017-2024, Chris served as Head Coach of the Men’s Golf team at the University of San Diego. Chris' wife, Michelle played collegiate golf at LSU, competed on the Futures Tour (now Epson Tour) and played 2 seasons on the LPGA Tour. The original design was shaped with input from PGA Tour professional Tommy Jacobs—once the youngest player ever invited to The Masters—who partnered with the course architect to craft a layout that would rigorously test every facet of a golfer’s game. Years later, Tom Lehman, the only player to earn Player of the Year honors across all three PGA Tours, played a central role in the course’s redesign. Both Jacobs and Lehman remain closely connected to the club, which also counts champions like Phil Mickelson, Annika Sorenstam, John Schroeder, Xander Schauffele, and Liselotte Neumann among its distinguished membership.
